Baby "Tannoy"

. After week of continuous business traveling, I have decided to wake up early this morning to collect my new Baby..."Tannoy". The size of these baby is slightly bigger then the real Tannoy Mini.
  • Handles up to 120 watts peak power
  • Each speaker features one 6-1/2" woofer and one 4/5" tweeter
  • Carbon fiber cone reproduces crisp and clear audio
  • Product Features
  • Bass-reflex design provides a deep, extended response
  • 1" silk dome tweeter for crisp and full audio
  • Binding post capability allows improved connectivity
  • High-gloss front panel with modern curved cabinet
  • Frequency response: 50Hz - 20kHz
  • Sensitivity: 90dB
    Impedance: 8 ohms

The speakers need some serious running in with my "burn in" CD. After hours of running in, the sound is beginning to "open up". The real Tannoy Mini costs HK$10,000 while the Baby "Tannoy" only costs only HK$500. Even though it is so cheap, it has a good sound stage, detail and resolution and a good mid range. From the price vs performance ratio, this is clearly a pair of superb speakers that is highly affordable. Previously, for affordable audiophile speakers, I would consider the Chi Ping speakers as one of the best value for money. With the appearance of these baby, the crown as to be passed to these baby.. Enjoy affordable luxury..especially in this critical time...
