Science and technology is constantly improving. It is unusual for a loudspeaker to remain in production for more than three years. It is rare for one to still be sold five years after its introduction. It is virtually unknown for a speaker to be still available, virtually unchanged, more then 30years after that date. Such is the case, however, with the LS3/5a design, which is still popular well even now. This is the magic of the Ls3/5a speakers and these are the only speakers that come in and go out and finally back in again in many audiophiles home.
My Chartwell has finally arrived with but a slight dent from shipment...
Anyway, the sound from the Ls3/5a is superb and when driven by the Unison Research Simply 2 single ended, it made me understand what music means..
